    Responsibilities:

    •Develop and implement effective lesson plans, taking into account the individual needs and abilities of students.

    •Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.

    •Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation.

    Qualifications for Hifdh Substitute:

    •Relevant certification

    •e.g. Ijaza

    •Minimum two year experience experience in teaching Quran memorization (Hifdh) curriculum in a primary/secondary school setting

    •Strong knowledge of Tajweed rules and Quranic recitation

    •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents

    •Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Part-Time Position

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in School Counseling

    • Valid Texas School Counseling Certificate

    • Valid Texas License as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor A (LPC- A) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required

    • Thorough knowledge of social services and programs available to meet a range of mental health, physical health, academic, and social service needs, as well as knowledge of state, local, and federal laws impacting the lives of students

    • Knowledge of evidence-based theoretical orientations and applicable therapeutic interventions for use in individual planning and responsive services

    • Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to understand needs related to student diversity including those related to cultural background, gender, ethnic, and learning styles

    • Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide counseling and/or consultant services

    • Provide individual and small group counseling to identified students

    • Assist with identifying and providing support to students, families, and campuses in an effort to overcome barriers that interfere with learning

    • Provide consultation to school personnel, parents/guardians, and community partners for the purpose of enhancing their understanding of student needs, developing effective social and emotional interventions, and building school capacity

    • Coordinate school, home, and community resources and refer students, parent, and others to special programs and services as needed

    • Work collaboratively to advocate for individual students and specific groups of students
